Fondue recipes...

I love having fondue nights with my girlfriends and was scheduled to have one last week, but it fell apart at the last minute due to a little accident with a kiddo. So here are a few recipes to share since tasting didnt happen! These are my favorite recipes for fondue!

Caramel fondue
½ cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup dark corn syrup
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
2 Tblsp water
1 tsp vanilla extract

dipping foods:sliced apples, bananas, pound cake, pretzels, etc.

Melt butter in large bowl 1 minute in microwave or until melted. Add the brown sugar, corn syrup, condensed milk, water and stir until combined. Continue heating in microwave for 1-2 minutes until smooth and thick. Add vanilla. Transfer to your fondue pot and turn on low.

Chocolate Fondue
8oz bittersweet chocolate
1 Tblsp butter
2 Tbps heavy cream

Dipping foods: sliced apples, bananas, pound cake, oreo, pretzels, graham crackers, marshmallows, etc.

In microwave, heat all ingredients 1 minute and stir. Continue cooking and stirring until melted and smooth. Transfer to fondue pot and cook on low or warm.

Melting pot swiss cheese fondue
12 ounces beer or apple cider vinegar
