I had an ice cream indulging night with the girls, so I thought i'd look up a scrumptious fudge sauce. Loved it, but would definatly add the water when I make it again, it was super thick when we were trying to eat it. Still amazingly good just too thick. So add that water!
Hot Fudge Sauce
1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk
4 (1oz) squares unsweetened chocolate, chopped
1/8 tsp salt
½ cup water
1 tsp vanilla extract
Combine milk, chopped chocolate and salt in double broiler over rapidly boiling water. Continue stirring approximately 10 minutes until chocolate is melted and thickens.
Remove from heat and stir in water if needed to thin. Cool slightly and stir in vanilla.Drizzle over ice cream and EnJOY!
