Triple Layer Brownies
If you like brownies, you will flip over these bad boys! Its just a jazzed up recipe to boring boxed brownies! You can even double the chocolate and peanut butter topping if you want an overload!
Triple Layer Brownies
½ Cup dry roasted chopped nuts
1 Cup oats
½ Cup packed brown sugar
1/3 Cup all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon baking soda
½ cup butter, melted
1 package (19-21oz) fudge brownie mix
¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup creamy peanut butter
Preheat oven to 350. combine oats, brown sugar, flour, baking soda and peanuts. Add butter; mix well. Press oat mixture onto bottom of greased baking dish. Bake 8 minutes. Remove from oven.
Meanwhile, prepare brownie mix according to package directions. Gently spoon batter over partially baked crust; carefully spread to edges of baker. Bake according to package directions for brownies (28-30 minutes). Cool completely.
Combine chocolate morsels and peanut butter in bowl and microwave uncovered for 1 minute. Stir until smooth. Spread chocolate mixture over cooled brownies. Sprinkle with additional nuts if desired. Cut into bars.
