Crunchy Chicken and Cheesy Garlic Crescents


Yes! A new favorite! I had this dish prepared in minutes and it was a hit with the entire family! Yahoo! This is a revised Pampered Chef recipe(thanks "shorty"!), Brenda Coyle helped me tweak it a little to add more flavor! So all the changes are made for you just make the recipe and enjoy! I needed a quick bread for a side so I came up with this little crescent number as well!
Crunchy Chicken and Cheesy Garlic Crescents

8 boneless skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)
3 egg whites
1 package ranch dressing mix
1 bag French onion sun chips

Preheat oven to 400. Whisk together 3 egg whites and add 1 package ranch dressing mix and whisk with eggs. Pour bag of chips into large zip lock bag and crush finely, can use flat side of a meat tenderizer to pound until crushed. Dip chicken into egg and ranch mix and drop chicken into zip lock bag with crumbs. Seal bag and shake well to coat chicken with crumbs. Place chicken on foil lined cookie sheet. Repeat with each chicken piece.
Bake 20 minutes or until internal temp of chicken reaches 180.

Cheesy garlic crescents
1 package cresent refrigerated dough
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
¼ cup butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder

Preheat oven to 375. Place 1 Tblsp of mozzarella cheese in center of crescent and roll into crescent shape. Melt butter and add garlic powder, mix. Using a pastry brush, brush the butter/garlic mixture on top of each crescent. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
