Impossibly Easy Taco Pie

I just had to share a kid friendly (as you can see) recipe this week, and adult friendly I might add! My hubby made this recipe taken and modified from our Bisquick book! Yum!
Impossibly Easy Taco Pie
1lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
1 taco seasoning packet
1 can (4oz) chopped green chilies, drained
½ cup original bisquik
1 cup milk
2 eggs
¾ cup shredded Monterey jack or chedder cheese
salsa, if desired
sour cream, if desired

Heat oven to 400. Grease pie plate, 9x1 ¼ inches. Cook beef , bell peppers and onion in skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Stir in seasoning mix. Spread in pie plate. Top with chilies.

Stir bisquick, milk and eggs until blended. Pour into pie plate.

Bake about 25 minutes or until knife insterted in center comes out clean. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 2 or 3 minutes or until cheese is melted. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serve with salsa and sour cream.
