Strawberry Pretzel Dessert


This recipe is one of my favorites from Ruth May! I love you for this one Ruthy! So creamy and amazing!
Strawberry Pretzel Desserts
Crust:
2 cups pretzels, crushed
4 Tblsp sugar
¾ cup butter, melted
layer 1:
1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 pkg cool whip
layer 2:
1 (6oz) pkg strawberry jello
2 cups water, boiling
1 cup cold water
2 (10 oz) pkgs frozen strawberries

Crust: Mix together and put into 9x13 glass dish. Bake at 400 for 7 minutes. Cool. Layers: beat cream cheese and powdered sugar. Add cool whip and pour over crust. Chill. Mix jello and hot water, then add cold water. Add strawberries and stir. Pour carefully and evenly over cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate until set. EnJOY!
