My gorgous friend Jennifer Schafer made these for one of our lunch groups and I had to threaten her for this secret recipe, and now Im sharing with you! shhhh.... yes its that good! Thanks Jen!
Frosted Banana Bars
2 cups + 2 Tbsp flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups sugar
1 cup soft butter
1 cup buttermilk (or milk)
3 ripe bananas
1 Tbsp vanilla
Mix and pour onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min.
Frosting
1 cup melted butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1 Tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
4 oz cream cheese, softened
Mix well and pour over banana bars; frosting will be runny. Put in refrigerator and serve chilled. EnJOY!
